Responsibilities
Serve as the technical leader on industrial water/wastewater treatment projects.
Coordinate execution of projects with other disciplines.
Process technology selection, concept, preliminary and detail designs for industrial water and wastewater treatment plants.
Develop well written process descriptions and other related process design documentation.
Manage and lead condition assessment evaluations for industrial biological wastewater system assets.
Lead or support the creation of cost estimates and project schedules and be responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule.
Manage and lead the growth of client relationships.
Supervise and support the work of others and mentor junior-level engineers and other technical staff.
Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality and safety standards.
Travel as needed for client meetings, project site visits, etc. project staffing needs (up to 25%).
Self-motivated, ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight, while demonstrating significant problem-solving ability with an unfailing dedication to deadlines and commitments.

Required
Master’s degree in engineering or a related field of study with focus on biological wastewater treatment.
10 years of industrial wastewater experience.
Professional Engineer registration in one or more states
Preferred
15 years of experience.
Experience with biological wastewater process modelling and other specialized software packages.
Deep understanding of process mechanical design including pump sizing, hydraulics, piping and rack layout, pressure relief device sizing, etc.
