Responsibilities

Participate in project and technical meetings with the customer during design, test, and implementation phases of the program.

Gather and validate requirements for all assigned projects/products.

Track technical requirements through the use of RTVMs.

Produce system design documentation based on requirements.

Develop integration and test processes and policies.

Define, specify and/or recommend test tools and scripts necessary to accomplish integration and test activities.

Provide Estimates of Effort for all integration engineering activities.

Support an automation first engineering strategy.

Provide technical expertise for the resolution of complex problems.

Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and schedule conflicts.

Participate in software and system architecture design reviews and test plan reviews to ensure compliance to specified requirements.

Participate in reviews and audits to ensure the highest quality work products.

Required

7+ years of Systems Engineering or Systems Integration experience

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree (BSEE/BSCE/BSCS preferred)

Experience working with distributed-system architectures for federated software (cloud, co-located or hybrid-cloud environments) and both physical and virtual networks.

Experience with any of the following: SIP, Session Border Controllers, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Postgres, Nginx, Terraform, Ansible, Elastic Stack.

Experience with Linux and DevOps / CI / CD.

Knowledge of VMware, Windows, and container solutions (VCD,NSX-t,ProxMox).

Understanding of Project Management fundamentals.

Awareness of Customer expectations and ability to effectively engage and lead customer focused meetings.

Excellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to nontechnical audiences.
