Responsibilities
Provide quality oversight and coaching to peers on instructional design deliverables, ensuring the timeliness and integrity of materials.
Lead major instructional design modules, courses, curricula, and programs focusing on guiding the deliverables of contributing instructional designers, graphics, and other team members, managing timelines, and escalating risks/issues for collaborative resolution with leadership.
Design, develop and deliver creative learning solutions per statements of work – based on adult learning principles – that ensure effective and sustainable learning and performance outcomes.
Serve as a primary point of contact for learning design inquiries and consultations from business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and trainers.
Collaborate with subject matter experts on the design and development of learning content.
Engage in significant collaboration with trainers and facilitators to drive instructional readiness.
To support all instructional materials, develop an understanding of technical and business processes which leverage core equipment, systems, and standard processes.
Represent the evolving discipline and diversity of adult learning captured in the learning strategy.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or related area of study
5-7+ years’ experience as an Instructional Designer, Learning Consultant, or Learning Specialist
Experience designing and developing technical learning solutions, which includes but is not limited to equipment setup, completing workflows systems, and troubleshooting issues
Strong process background
Experience using numerous training design approaches, such as SAM, the ADDIE Model, the Critical Events Model, the Competency-Based Model, and others
Strong life cycle/ project management skills
A strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to quickly assess and summarize information and effectively identify issues or risks and potential resolutions
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
A track record of incorporating the following key behaviors into day-to-day efforts: team-approach, effective listening, developing credibility, building trust, demonstrating reliability, client-driven, future-focused, innovative and curious
Expert proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
Advanced knowledge of and experience with learning development tools such as Articulate Studio, Storyline, Camtasia, Inkling, and Vyond
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet
Preferred
Master’s degree
