Responsibilities

Collaborate with design team members and instill thought-leadership throughout all phases of the design process.

Create and lead design vision and direction for a design concept.

Set a vision and direction for material palettes.

Review and provide feedback to the team for development.

Possess a deep understanding of the research underpinning evidence-based design solutions, adding value beyond the traditional FF&E support; work to generate design support tools.

Bring regionally and/or nationally recognized industry expertise, continually growing expertise and skill sets.

Take on responsibilities as outlined by regional or national leadership.

Contribute to the development of Construction Documents and specifications; may provide a QA/QC role.

Direct and contribute to the development of Furniture packages; may provide a QA/QC role.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.

NCIDQ Certification.

At least 8 years of experience in Public-sector and/or Government design industry with a keen understanding of market sector standards and best practices.

Proficient in the use of computer modeling and rendering software.

Ability to work both independently and effectively in a cross-disciplinary team atmosphere and across multiple offices.

Outstanding communication, interpersonal skills, and be an enthusiastic team player.

Strong leadership, team building, and time management skills.

Preferred

Industry involvement in relevant market sector organizations.
