Senior IT Asset Analyst

Responsibilities
Perform hardware asset administration by identifying and tracking designated IT assets, their locations, and owners.
Track hardware lifecycles for leasing and regular replacement of aged equipment.
Determine hardware standards to align with industry best practices and organizational trends.
Manage the CMDB relationships for the current inventory.
Make acquisition recommendations for hardware based on predetermined thresholds.
Use tools like Absolute, ServiceNow Discovery, and PDQ Inventory to determine and query hardware/software connected to the NKCH domain.
Perform software license administration by using supplied tools to track software, manage the CMDB, monitor software renewals and subscriptions, and engage in licensing best practices.
Develop and maintain the license management database and standardization for CI’s.
Participate in licensing audits, ensuring licenses are compliant with vendor usage.
Develop standards for bulk purchasing and work with vendors to negotiate the best prices, contracts, and EULA’s.
Lead asset management team in building a repository of software licenses and purchase documentation for compliance and risk aversion.
Obtain quotes and purchase hardware and software according to IT-approved standards.
Review IT contracts (Software, EULA’s, Contractors, & Confidential agreements).
Perform basic budgeting and accounting to research payment, track invoices, and assign department account numbers.
Maintain accountability for ITAM system updates on requests and incidents.
Assist the asset analyst team with ServiceNow requests, procurement, and deployment as needed.
Collaborate with hospital departments to understand their IT asset needs and provide timely solutions.
Ensure IT assets are deployed and maintained in compliance with hospital standards and healthcare regulations.
Support the integration of new technologies and systems within the hospital environment.
Identify opportunities for improving asset management processes and implement best practices.
Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT asset management.
Assist in the development and implementation of asset management policies and procedures.

Required
5-6 years of experience in IT Asset Management and healthcare operations
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Proven experience with ServiceNow, including asset management and reporting
Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable
Experience auditing hardware and software assets
Knowledge of software and hardware terminology to include licensing requirements
Knowledge of purchasing ordering systems, billing, and invoicing
Ability to create queries or filters to identify specific hardware and software, as needed
Minimize cost and realize ROI through product standardization and tracking
Preferred
ITIL Foundation certification is a plus
ServiceNow certification is a plus
