Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the project team.
Oversee design and development activities to ensure alignment with project goals.
Ensure compliance with Texas Project Delivery Framework and organizational guidelines.
Develop and maintain project artifacts, including charters, work plans, and tracking documents.
Manage risks, document issues, and develop contingency plans for project barriers.
Provide regular updates to the Project Steering Committee and other oversight entities.
Facilitate the SDLC process, ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into technical specifications.
Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members.
Deliver presentations to leadership and project oversight bodies as needed.

Required
10+ years of project management experience for large-scale enterprise implementations.
8+ years of experience managing State of Texas or similar federal/state projects.
8+ years of experience leading legacy modernization initiatives.
PMP Certification (preferred).
In-depth knowledge of PMI frameworks, project management methodologies, and SDLC processes.
Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in diverse team environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred
5+ years of experience with Texas Project Delivery Framework.
Familiarity with low-code/no-code solutions and Texas Statewide systems.
Knowledge of the State of Texas QAT process for major Information Resources projects.
