Responsibilities
Supervise staff on assigned work activities and address personnel issues including staffing estimations, interviewing, hiring, and training of staff.
Manage and participate in client intake, lead inspections, healthy homes assessments, and outreach/education activities.
Coordinate with outside contractors, internal departments, and sub-grantees to ensure compliance with policy guidance issued by HUD.
Design and monitor projects for compliance with building and safety codes, environmental review processes, EPA, HUD, State, and local regulations.
Assist in the preparation of grant applications and provide program information necessary for new HUD grant opportunities.
Conduct meetings to discuss project requirements with collaborating departments and community organizations.
Oversee project bid process, review bids, and make recommendations for award selection.
Prepare, review, and submit progress plans, reports, project reviews, and cost estimates to management and HUD.
Drive to various sites to conduct random site visits to ensure contractor quality of work and compliance with regulations.
Negotiate consulting fees, prepare contracts for sub-grantee agreements, and review pay requests for contractors and consultants.
Attend mandatory HUD Conferences and trainings.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Public or Business Administration or a related field
Seven (7) years of experience in lead remediation with five (5) of the six years in a supervisory capacity
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Must possess and maintain a State of Tennessee Lead-Based Paint Risk Assessor, Project Designer, and Contractor/Supervisor certification
