Responsibilities
Performance Consulting: Partner with business units to identify performance gaps and recommend targeted interventions.
Learning Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive learning strategies aligned with business objectives using the 70/20/10 learning framework.
Curriculum Design: Create engaging and impactful learning programs that enhance employee capabilities.
Partner with Clients: Partner and communicate with senior leadership in our content and newsroom functions as well as other functions within Gannett, in collaboration with HR Business Partners, to conduct a performance analysis to discover and analyze performance gaps; plan for future improvements, design and develop solutions to close performance gaps.
Measurement and Evaluation: Implement robust evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless program delivery.
Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate cutting-edge methodologies into our learning solutions.
Learning Technology: Utilize available learning technology platform(s) as a delivery mechanism for learning solutions engagement, delivery & tracking.
Apply knowledge in Instructional Design, to design and develop learning interventions that support performance objectives of the organization. Solutions may include:
Instructor-led programs
Role plays
Simulations
Activities and job aids
ELearning
Maintain current courseware by ensuring the latest content is reflected and developing training solutions for ad hoc projects.

Required
Bachelor's degree or combination of education and workplace experience in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or related field
7 years of experience in learning and talent development, with a focus on performance consulting.
Proficiency in Human Performance Technology (HPT) principles.
Strong project management skills and ability to drive results.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Minimum of 7 years experience using Articulate 360 learning development software.
Minimum 7 years of experience using Camtasia Studio video development software.
Minimum 3-5 years managing Learning Management Systems. Cornerstone SBX (Formally Saba Cloud) is a plus.
Competency using Microsoft Office Suite of productivity tools.
Must be a strategic thinker and self-starter.
Preferred
1-3 years’ experience and/or background in Journalism & News
