Responsibilities
Design, implement, optimize, and maintain localization and mapping systems for autonomous vehicles.
Research and integrate novel localization techniques and sensor modalities for challenging environments, including GNSS-denied areas.
Build tools and metrics to evaluate and debug the localization system.
Develop and maintain calibration systems for sensor extrinsics.

Required
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
5+ years of academic or industry experience in developing localization and mapping systems.
C++, Python & ROS2 proficiency
Proficiency in state estimation techniques -- EKF, UKF, Particle Filters, Lidar Odometry, GraphSLAM.
Preferred
A PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
Familiarity with open-source localization work -- LIO-SAM, ORB-SLAM, Cartographer, Slam tool box, FUSE, LOAM.
