Responsibilities
Develop and define the donor journey strategy across multiple campaigns from brand awareness, consideration and conversion, integrating retargeting efforts across channels.
Align paid initiatives with email marketing and lifecycle campaigns to nurture donors effectively, maximize engagement and drive long-term retention.
Oversee and optimize paid marketing campaigns and manage agency partners in the execution of search, display, and social media advertising. Ensure alignment with target audiences and performance goals.
Track, analyze, and report on growth marketing metrics and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
Concept creative marketing assets needed for paid media and content across Starlight.org and work closely with the marketing team and other channel owners to create assets, identify key moments and other content to ensure consistent messaging across channel activations.
Mentor and manage an email marketing team member, supporting skills development and ensure successful implementation of email campaigns and results.
Foster a collaborative environment with the broader marketing team and departments at Starlight.
Allocate and manage the growth marketing budget efficiently.
Own the strategy for the continued development of starlight.org and microsites and manage the overall journey of an individual from site visitor to donor.
Oversee the day-to-day website performance to maintain high-quality user experience while also improving SEO, link building, conversion rates above NFP benchmarks.
Use SEO and SEM techniques and work collaboratively with marketing team members to identify blogs, website content, and other opportunities to drive traffic to the website.
Lead conversion rate optimization initiatives, identifying opportunities and page optimizations to increase conversion rates.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field
Passion for Starlight’s mission to deliver happiness to seriously ill children
5-7 years of experience in growth marketing or performance marketing, with a proven track record in a fast-paced environment
2 years of team or project leadership helping individuals to achieve business goals
Expertise in digital channels, including paid social, SEM, SEO, and email marketing
Proficiency in web analytics, contextualizing data to understand customer behavior, with strong experience using Google Analytics 4.
Understanding of APIs for integrating systems or connecting GA4 with other reporting tools.
Tech adaptability and familiarity with digital fundraising tools, customer relationship management systems, email marketing and automation platforms.
Demonstrated success managing budgets and driving results through KPIs and other performance metrics
Strong communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content, develop and maintain relationships with donors, supporters, and community members
People-person with clear, direct communication skills
Positive, self-motivated team player
Problem solver that coordinates and executes projects concurrently
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce, Contentful, Classy, and Asana a plus, but not required
