Responsibilities

Develop and mentor individual contributors through the entire product process from incubation, development, and sustaining
Partner with Product Management teams to define customer system architecture and integration design
Partner with the Operations team to improve current manufacturing processes and scale
Understand customers' needs and represent them in product requirements
Develop teams that ensure robust process of design and development of integrated systems

Required

BS/MS/Ph.D. degree in a technical Engineering field or Applied Physics
5 years’ proven experience in system engineering role leading hardware platforms
Demonstrated ability to develop talent in an R&D product development or sustaining role
Considerable experience in developing high complexity integrated life sciences or clinical instrumentation, consumables, and software
Expertise in systems engineering processes, from requirements gathering and risk analysis to statistical power in validation
Proven to build phenomenal teams with great culture and is able to attract, engage, and retain top talent
A solid understanding of a range of analytical instrumentation (capillary electrophoresis, chromatography, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry)
Technical expertise in fluidics/microfluidics, optical detection, chemistry, electrokinetics, pneumatics
Proven experience working across multi-disciplined teams / cross - functional teams –scientists, engineers and software personnel. Shown success at networking across the company
