Responsibilities

Hire, mentor, and support a high-performing Data/ML team.

Facilitate/lead engineering design and obsess about customers.

Build production systems that improve developer productivity and automate the work of running systems with a focus on LLMs and generative AI technologies.

Be a technical leader and establish culture, as well as mentor other engineers.

Design, implement, and launch data pipelines to clean and ingest data from various internal sources

Design and curate datasets and train/finetune models.

Design experiments, test them on users, analyze.

Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent related field experience

Expertise software engineering skills

Experience in leading the design and implementation of AI-powered services and applications and data pipelines

Hands-on experience or interest in emerging LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector stores, embedding models and instruction/chat models

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
