Responsibilities
Lead, inspire and drive a team of experts in Secondary Packaging to enable a new highly automated site.
Act as the site technical expert lead for packaging design, materials, and design for manufacturing.
Collaborate with equipment suppliers to understand interdependencies of packaging materials vs equipment performance.
Enable site to meet manufacturing operating assumptions by driving continuous improvement programs.
Develop Packaging Engineering team and ensure team is integrated within AOH site operations.
Build a diverse team of various abilities to ensure specification with materials vs equipment align and optimized.
Responsible for supporting the delivery of productivity, throughput, and general capacity improvements across the AOH site.

Required
Doctorate degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences or related fields and 2 years of packaging, manufacturing, or other directly related experience
Masters degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences or related fields and 6 years of packaging, manufacturing, or other directly related experience
Bachelors in Engineering, Physical Sciences or related fields and 8 years of packaging, manufacturing, or other directly related experience
Associates degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences or related fields and 10 years of packaging, manufacturing, or other directly related experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of packaging, manufacturing, or other directly related experience
Minimum of 2 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources
Preferred
Leadership Development of our staff, delegation of work, inspiring our staff and communications
Expert understanding of multiple packaging disciplines (design, process, and equipment) in a highly regulated environment
Drive design and execution for manufacturing, and continuous improvement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills together with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Proven track record of leading and executing cross-functional projects
Strong teamwork, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Direct experience with the manufacturing process for packaging operations
Experience of working and improving packaging material suppliers
Ability to work in a highly regulated and ever-changing industry
Ability to learn and rapidly adapt to new requirements in a fast-moving environment
