Responsibilities
Lead and manage the revenue cycle team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high productivity and morale.
Analyze and improve revenue cycle processes, including patient registration, billing, coding, collections, and payment posting to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Monitor financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle operations, and implement strategies to improve economic performance.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and industry standards, staying updated on changes in laws and regulations.
Oversee the implementation and optimization of revenue cycle management software and technology solutions to streamline operations.
Work closely with clinical, administrative, and financial teams to align revenue cycle processes with organizational goals and patient care objectives.
Prepare and present regular reports on revenue cycle performance, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Enhance the patient financial experience by ensuring clear communication, efficient billing processes, and responsive customer service.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or a related field
Significant experience in revenue cycle management, with a proven track record of leadership in a healthcare setting
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
In-depth understanding of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes, as well as relevant regulations and compliance requirements
Preferred
Master’s degree
Professional certifications such as CPC or CPB may be advantageous
