Responsibilities

Oversee, manage, and maintain the Stratus EEG network architecture and technology housed in the United States, including on-site maintenance, patches, and hardware updates.

Design and maintain the Stratus EEG cloud architecture, specify and select servers and networking infrastructure, create and manage virtual machines, and balance load.

Identify potential security risks across the network infrastructure, recommend solutions to protect the integrity of Stratus platforms, and create and document the disaster recovery plan.

Cooperate with the Kvikna software development team to optimize cloud deployment, manage and lead Stratus EEG proprietary software and Kvikna Medical software integration and technical support for global partners and distributors, prepare and install solutions, and manage the integration of software, hardware, and third-party applications.

Deploy sustainable software, system, and product upgrades, provide input and guidance on software development cycles, serve as a technical subject matter expert, fully participate in software and hardware development, testing, and implementation processes, and manage and lead data utilization reporting for Stratus EEG products.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field

Minimum of six (6) years of experience in medical device software engineering in Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

Demonstrated success in a role that developed software requirements and launched EEG software products

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a regulated industry managing cloud-based applications and servers

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability with analysis and critical thinking skills to determine and assess the needs of the user and then create software to meet the requirements

Demonstrated strong ability to work cross-functionally and influence people, without having direct authority

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Platforms/OS/Servers (e.g. Windows Server, Linux/Unix, Apache, Tomcat, etc.)

Experience writing Powershell scripts

Knowledge of virtualization, e.g., Azure Stack HCI, Hyper-V

Experience managing AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

SQL skills, writing queries, etc.

Preferred

Knowledge of Microsoft failover clustering is preferred

Relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred
