Responsibilities

Drive the successful development of new products and enhance existing products through recommendations on design, pricing, underwriting, and more.
Analyze premium rates, loss experience, and retention to ensure production and underwriting profitability goals are met.
Develop business profit and growth strategies for assigned states, translating market opportunities into new product ideas.
Coordinate with various departments to implement rate revisions, new products, and initiatives.
Communicate key profit metrics and build working relationships across different departments.

Required

Knowledge of personal/commercial lines insurance products and processes.
Broad understanding of financial statements and key drivers of growth and profit.
Experience with forecasting and modeling, leveraging Python/Microsoft Visual Studio Code.
Strong experience with SQL and understanding of relational databases.
Ability to work independently and quickly learn new data sets.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present to small groups.
Work may extend beyond normal business hours as business needs dictate.
Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
