Responsibilities
Plans, develops, implements, and monitors departmental marketing strategies and programs.
Maintains the Department's online marketing and communication tools.
Prepares various documents to secure support for departmental objectives.
Prepares reports to provide pertinent Departmental information to County departments, external agencies, and the public.
Acts as a liaison for the Department by communicating with internal and external agencies.
Supervises staff engaged in departmental marketing programs.

Required
Two (2) years' experience in a public agency assisting in the negotiation and implementation of marketing programs.
Three (3) years' experience in private sector marketing implementing marketing projects.
A Master's degree from an accredited college with specialization in Marketing may be substituted for six (6) months of the required public agency or private sector experience.
A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
