Responsibilities

Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to gather design requirements for manufacturing equipment and tooling.

Utilize SolidWorks to create and modify detailed 3D models and mechanical designs.

Develop comprehensive technical drawings for manufacturing equipment and tooling.

Review and complete partial designs to ensure they meet functionality requirements.

Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Manage design documentation and maintain accurate revision control.

Required

Proven experience in mechanical design with a strong portfolio of completed industrial projects.

Proficiency in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling and print creation.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively communicate with team members remotely.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all technical drawings and documentation.

Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.

Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.

Preferred

Prefer mechanical engineering or mechatronics degree. Strong experience may be considered.

Experience with energetics processing equipment design a strong plus.
