Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize complex database queries, including stored procedures, within PostgreSQL to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Continuously improve the performance of complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions in PostgreSQL by identifying bottlenecks and applying best practices for optimization.
Work extensively with AWS Athena for querying large datasets in a cloud environment, ensuring smooth integration with other AWS services like AWS Glue.
Support and drive data visualization initiatives using Tableau to deliver actionable insights, create reports, and develop dashboards for stakeholders.
Apply expertise in database performance tuning to enhance the speed and efficiency of data processing, with a focus on PostgreSQL and cloud-based environments such as AWS Athena.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD processes for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of PostgreSQL-related applications, ensuring continuous delivery and high-quality code.
Contribute to the design, creation, and maintenance of scalable and efficient database architectures for large, complex datasets, specifically in the telecom domain.
Leverage SQL, Tableau, and other BI tools to perform detailed data analysis, generate custom reports, and create actionable insights for business units.
Utilize deep knowledge of the telecom industry to understand and implement database solutions that align with business needs and improve decision-making capabilities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful data-driven solutions.
Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards through effective data governance practices within PostgreSQL and AWS Athena environments.

Required
8 to 10 years of experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Expertise in maintaining and optimizing complex database queries, including stored procedures, within PostgreSQL
Experience with AWS Athena for querying large datasets in a cloud environment
Ability to support and drive data visualization initiatives using Tableau
Expertise in database performance tuning, specifically in PostgreSQL and cloud-based environments such as AWS Athena
Experience collaborating with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD processes for PostgreSQL-related applications
Experience in designing, creating, and maintaining scalable and efficient database architectures for large, complex datasets
Ability to leverage SQL, Tableau, and other BI tools for detailed data analysis and custom report generation
