Responsibilities
Analyze and determine root causes of high and low power electrical failures, electronic and battery fires, electrocutions and electric shock injuries, machinery and equipment failures, and electrical fire investigations.
Write technical reports and establish contacts to build business opportunities.

Required
BS or Masters in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering area
Current PE desirable
CFI or CFEI is a plus
5+ years practical experience in the electrical engineering field
Minimum of 2 years experience in the forensic/failure analysis arena
Past litigation support, expert witness testimony skills and product safety engineering experience are desirable attributes
Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing technical reports pertaining to electrical failures and Fire Investigation
Experience with the operation of various types of machinery, equipment and appliances, building electrical systems; automobiles and heavy equipment components and operation; as well as a wide array of other engineering experiences (e.g. failure analysis, building code familiarity, and systems testing)
Excellent customer service, communication and project management skills. Responsibilities include field investigations, collaboration, project coordination and preparation of reports
