Responsibilities

Leverage Quality best practices to influence business decision makers to assure efforts are properly focused on customer care-abouts and requirements associated with mission success.
Communicate program goals, objectives, requirements and customer feedback to all QA disciplines, cross-functional program teammates and supply base to assure alignment.
Define and analyze QA metrics.
Establish customer relations and process and validate customer corrective action requests.
Assess impact of potential customer escapes.
Act as the voice of the customer to independently assure mission success.
Demonstrate good communication skills and be able to work within a cross-functional team environment.

Required

Typically requires 10 years prior relevant experience in Engineering or Quality including Auditing, Root Cause and Corrective Actions, AS9100/ISO900x experience.
Must have experiences with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Project, etc.
Familiar with technical procedures, specifications, standards, and other engineering and manufacturing related documents.
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense (DoD) government issued security clearance is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred

Active/Current US Secret security clearance
Familiar with and has some practical experience of Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Lean, DMAIC, and DMADV) and or tools (e.g., ANOVA, SPC, Capability Analysis.
Working experience with AS 9100 quality management systems, and experience in aerospace-related manufacturing environment, is a plus.
