Responsibilities
Support risk and compliance program activities across the Security Division.
Contribute incremental improvement to the privacy program increasing efficiency of operating processes.
Continuously aligning services and strategy with the company standards, policy, and strategies, and understanding how they need to be applied within our organization.
Identifying opportunities to expand the services model to include other risk and compliance offerings across the enterprise.
Support the team in clarifying business, tooling, and engineering requirements to land impactful outcomes for compliance and risk management.
Support Microsoft Security engineering teams on privacy and risk management clearly and relevant to their roles.
Present status and service health updates to senior leadership.
Understand emerging privacy, compliance, and technical issues and how they will impact our services, programs, and resourcing needs.
Closely coordinate with other privacy, compliance, and risk management leaders in the company to ensure our programs are aligned, as well as staying connected to governance owners, including Privacy Regulatory Affairs and Corporate External Legal Affairs Front Line.

Required
2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development + OR equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in privacy operations, engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development + OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience with compliance or cybersecurity.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
Preferred
IAPP certification or equivalent.
Familiarity with data privacy and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA.
Great curiosity and willingness to question.
Experience working collaboratively, solve problems with groups, find win/win solutions, drive change, and celebrate success.
Solve problems by always leading with deep passion and empathy for customers.
Experience partnering closely with internal and external customers and partners.
Possess a technical aptitude with a deep understanding of data and cloud services.
Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication.
