Responsibilities

Review and monitor the performances of existing manufacturing facilities in the Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain using key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operability, profitability, reliability, energy efficiency, and process safety.

Issue quarterly process unit performance benchmarking reports highlighting KPIs, analysis, and performance improvement recommendations.

Monitor and support facilities in implementing the recommendations and closing performance gaps identified in the benchmarking reports.

Optimize the performance of producing units in the Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain through in-depth plant monitoring and oversight.

Conduct benchmarking and best practices exchange workshops among Global Manufacturing facilities with relevant process technologies.

Provide technical advisory support to Global Manufacturing facilities on matters related to plant operation and process design improvements, issuing service reports for each support activity.

Coordinate and drive Global Manufacturing and Corporate programs to the operating facilities for execution and effective monitoring.

Participate in Business Plan development and coordinate with stakeholders for capital investments in assigned process units.

Participate in hazard operability (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) studies as required by operating facilities.

Participate in incident investigation activities related to the Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain.

Lead troubleshooting efforts for unit operations, investigate off-spec products, and manage deliverables during turnarounds and unplanned shutdowns/startups.

Perform process parameters gap analysis and benchmarking among Global Manufacturing facilities with relevant process technologies to share best practices, lessons learned, areas for improvements, and technical recommendations.

Conduct benchmarking and best practices technical exchange workshops among Global Manufacturing facilities producing chemicals in the Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain based on Benchmarking & Best Practices Exchange Agreements.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related specialization. An advanced degree is preferred.

Minimum of 15 years' experience within a refinery or petrochemical process unit, including experience in process engineering and operations.

At least 10 years' experience in handling plants related to the Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain.

Exposure to different process licensor technologies related to the Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain is preferred.

Strong mentorship skills with the ability and drive to guide the development of junior engineers.

Familiarity and understanding of best practices, design principles, international engineering standards, and specifications relevant to the operation of the concerned process units.
