Responsibilities
Help shape content and discovery experiences across Everand, Scribd, and SlideShare, focusing on features like search and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, user problems, and opportunities.
Own design projects from research to prototyping and development.
Utilize research data and user testing to create user-centered designs.
Conduct user research and prototype testing to understand user needs.
Visualize design solutions through flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
Develop detailed design documentation and specifications.
Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure polished user experiences.
Present work to peers, stakeholders, and senior leaders for feedback.

Required
8+ years of experience as a product designer with demonstrable proficiency owning the design process from early stage ideation through high fidelity design to product ship.
Comfortable working closely with designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, and data scientists. Can synthesize and incorporate their inputs and points of view in your work.
Excited by the challenge of iterating on and improving the user experience across three brands, and using emerging technologies to innovate on familiar patterns.
Strong communicator who has the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and persuasively, and present your work in a way that energizes and creates shared ownership for both leaders and peers. Skills to mentor those around you to deliver high quality work.
Fluent in UX, visual and interactive design best practices and have a strong knowledge of usability fundamentals and methodologies.
Maintain a high bar for design quality and coherence, even when scaling solutions to meet broad user needs. Portfolio showcases a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering clear, engaging user experiences.
Comfortable with ambiguity, thrive in fast-paced environments that require a growth mindset and adaptive problem-solving skills.
