Responsibilities
Set the tone and develop framework, strategies, and approach for product design (UX/UI)
Partner with key teams to define, curate, develop, and maintain our design system and language
Lead and participate in customer research
Work collaboratively with product, engineering, and other partners to represent the design team, facilitate discussions, and ensure design quality.
Design flows, mocks, prototypes, and production-ready designs
Design with transactions, access, and usability — we want our products to be great, get work done, and be easy to use for everyone
Proactively identify and advocate for fixing design issues
Work with teams to understand user feedback, application insights, and analytics to develop ongoing product design strategies and execution
Lead ongoing improvements of our design methodology, practices, and standards
Manage and be a mentor for other designers

Required
Minimum of 7 years of product design experience delivering transactional-based systems for SaaS services
Understanding of healthcare space and needs from workflow to users
A digital portfolio that showcases both strategic thinking and delivery, from ideation through delivery and measurement, with a SaaS product focus
Experience partnering with product managers to translate data and insights into strategy and rationale for design solutions
Strong skills using modern design and prototyping tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
Experience working with product managers, product design, and engineering teams to define and deliver exceptional experiences
Experience leading customer research
Strong understanding of digital design and UX and UI best practices and principles, including accessibility best practices
Experience defining, developing, and maintaining a digital design system used across teams and multiple products
Empathy toward not only end users but also the team you are working with
Strong collaboration and communication skills
