Responsibilities

Report to our Director of Product Design and help Vercel further its core product and enter new markets through design and engineering partnership.

Contribute to the design process from gathering requirements, and delivering visual specifications, to overseeing implementation.

Set the creative bar for evolving design projects.

Establish guidelines and ensure they are enforced.

Collaborate with growth, content, and engineering teams, across the full customer lifecycle.

Create, and iterate flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals (including strategic decks and presentations).

Work closely with engineers and other partners to ensure a high-quality implementation.

Craft high quality work, inspire those around you, and help establish a design culture within the company.

Required

4+ years of experience in product design

Excellent visual, verbal, UI, and interaction skills.

Well-rounded, comprehensive experience designing interactive products.

Passion to deliver customer delight.

Experience with frontend frameworks, developer tooling, and managed infrastructure.

Production code (React, Next.js) is a plus.

Animation experience is a plus.

Preferred

Passion for design and figuring out best-in-class solutions to UX, UI and interaction challenges.

Ability to think through complex interaction design.

Clear expression of ideas through comprehensive prototypes.

Experience with design systems and software engineering.

A great collaborative teammate capable of delivering and receiving feedback.
