Responsibilities
Promote continuous improvement of engineering processes and documentation.
Develop and ensure standardization and best practices for design and documentation.
Research, test, and recommend new technologies and processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable design standards and regulations.
Direct the design and layout of equipment using solid modeling practices.
Complete RFIs, feasibility studies, design reviews, and product investigations.
Represent engineering in cross-functional work groups.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), or similar degree from four-year college or university; and at least seven years related experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Possess the ability to apply appropriate mathematical concepts with respect to standard engineering functions and practices.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Proficiency applying engineering principles in a manufacturing environment required.
Proficiency with Solidworks CAD systems required.
