Responsibilities
Curriculum development and facilitation
Recruit, train and support facilitation teams for existing training programs. Coordinate domestic worker facilitation teams, providing coaching and mentorship for domestic worker leaders to hone their facilitation skills
Facilitate meetings and trainings, and model facilitator best practices
Identify new programs that are needed by NDWA’s domestic worker base
Develop training agendas and materials for both online and in-person facilitation of new and existing programs
Coordinate program participant recruitment and communications
Record and track data on program participation
Carry out program evaluations and reporting
Coordinate partnerships with outside training vendors, including communication, scheduling and other planning
Collaborate with digital organizing and products teams to explore, practice and hone the use of digital tools for program outreach, delivery and coordination
Make NDWA’s national worker programs visible to a broad audience, both inside the organization and externally
Supervise program staff, ensuring success in meeting workplan goals
Coordinate teams to successfully advance team goals and establish effective collaborative systems and relationships
Build lateral relationships internally in order to foster effective cross-team collaboration

Required
Bilingual English/Spanish, cultural competency and work experience in both languages; excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages, including translation and interpretation skills.
3-5 years’ experience managing leadership development, organizer training, political education and other programs for low-wage worker organizing
Experience designing accessible programs taking into account literacy and language issues
Track record of curriculum development using popular education methodologies
At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor of full-time, permanent staff
Track record of excellence in team management
Experience in managing multiple projects and tasks; excellent skills for managing timelines and coordinating dynamic teams to carry out high quality programs together
Expertise, skill, interest and commitment in doing administrative work- including office operations, communications systems, data entry, and event support
Ability to coordinate evaluations and track program successes and areas for improvement.
Experience using digital tools for large-scale program delivery, including using Zoom or other platforms as training spaces, using video, chat or other tools for content delivery
Excellent relational skills: friendly, diplomatic, patient, supportive of others
Love of fast-paced environments and the ability to respond and pivot to shifting priorities;
Agreement and alignment with NDWA’s vision and values;
Understanding of issues facing low-wage workers, immigrant communities, and other communities of color;
Innovative and hungry to solve problems through creative program design
Proficiency with Google Suite, including Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Sheets;
Excellent attention to detail and well organized;
Ability to work well with diverse groups and populations;
Ability to work flexible hours, including working some weekends, and to travel about 20%
Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative and work independently;
