Responsibilities
Managing and leading federal performance based/fixed price remediation projects
Close successful collaboration with DOE Tier 1 contractors and other stakeholders
Familiarity with DOE environmental programs, contaminants and organizational framework of the agency
Managing and directing professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects
Achieving contractual performance and financial milestones
Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management
Leads teams by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices
Utilizes existing technologies and past experience to develop technical solutions to complex problems
Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance
Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking
Performs work with minimal direction with periodic reporting to internal regional and environmental management
Oversees the preparation of work plans and organizes project studies
Performs complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project team
Supervises junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work
Conducts reviews and provides staff feedback for continued improvement

Oversee and develop technical approaches and cost estimates for proposals

Required
BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.

Preferred
Professional license (PG, PE) or registration (PMP, CHMM)
Strong knowledge and track record in the environmental / remediation business inclusive of risk-based strategic asset management and advocacy in multiple state jurisdictions working for an Environmental Consultant
Experienced with Legacy Management Programs
Respected people manager and successful team builder
