Responsibilities

Review orders and interpret customer and sales specifications

Create technical drawings and documentation

Manage project specifications and cost estimates

Provide technical support throughout the order lifecycle

Maintain engineering best practices and share knowledge

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and upper leadership

Investigate technical problems and contribute to continuous improvement

Utilize engineering tools for efficiency and accuracy

Coach and provide technical advice to colleagues

Attend project meetings and interact with stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university and minimum 5 years relevant industry experience

5 or more years of experience with electrical distribution equipment preferred

5 or more years of experience interpreting or creating one line diagrams and electrical schematics preferred

Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to analyze and resolve problems

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematics & technical specifications

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Ability to welcome change and work in a fast-paced environment

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Project management skills with the ability to plan, execute & document programs / projects

Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision

Willingness to support off-shift manufacturing teams

Working knowledge of ANSI/IEEE/NEMA Standards and UL/CSA certification
