Responsibilities

Lead BGS core engineering in the area of technical design reviews (TDRs) and design records

Support the BGS Practices and Processes senior leader on engineering initiatives and other key working groups and projects

Develop new statements of work (SOW) or refine existing SOW to satisfy research and development project requirements

Lead key activities within TDRs and Design Records focused on standardization of processes/actions

Influence and negotiate technical changes on behalf of the engineering processes and practices leadership

Evaluate customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements

Lead analysis and develop system requirements in collaboration with the Engineering Tools team

Train technical teams and provide technical guidance across BGS engineering capabilities and project teams

Lead agile team activities as the Scrum lead/co-lead

Provide support to cost account manager in earned value management activities

Communicate with leaders and peers across BGS engineering capability teams and engineering enterprise team

Keep senior leadership and team members informed by communicating project status

Execute and collaborate across BGS engineering with capability and program teams

Produce reports, presentations, and define plans for upcoming design practice system deliverables

Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans

Work under minimal direction and resolve cross-functional technical issues

Required

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

5+ years of experience within an engineering discipline such as (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, computer science, and/or other engineering disciplines)

5+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions

3+ years of experience working the principles and tools within project management

1+ years of experience leading or participating in a technical independent review

1+ years of experience using advanced data visualization software, such as Tableau and Microsoft PowerBI
