Responsibilities
Plans, designs and coordinates complex construction, rehabilitation, and/or alteration of structures, facilities, equipment and/or other rail infrastructure systems.
Coordinates the activities of assigned project staff and/or contractors in the design, development and implementation of complex engineering projects.
Recommends standards and criteria for design and construction for complex engineering projects. Develops designs, proposals, schedules and cost estimates for assigned projects.
Evaluates progress and results of engineering activity and recommends changes in procedures of assigned projects.
Maintains liaison with individuals and units (internally and externally) to facilitate the completion of assigned projects.
Estimates human and other resources needs and schedules work to meet completion dates and technical specifications.

Required
Baccalaureate Degree in appropriate engineering discipline and three years of applied engineering experience, to include project management experience.
Preferred
Professional Engineer License in the state of New Jersey is desired.
