Responsibilities
Develop and manage comprehensive, high-level project plans detailing project scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for complex IT initiatives.
Lead and direct the planning phase of large-scale IT projects, ensuring that all aspects are meticulously defined and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
Own the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring that all project phases—requirements gathering, design, development, and implementation—are managed with precision.
Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are aligned with organizational strategy and business needs.
Conduct thorough risk assessments in the planning phase, identifying potential roadblocks, technical dependencies, and operational challenges. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to avoid disruptions.
Define and enforce project governance frameworks to ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee resource management, ensuring the right mix of skills and expertise is deployed across the project and effectively balancing project priorities with resource constraints.
Negotiate project deliverables, scope, timelines, and costs with stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure the feasibility of project success.
Lead executive-level communication through regular status reports, steering committee meetings, and project reviews to provide transparent updates and highlight key risks, dependencies, and challenges.
Establish and enforce performance metrics for project deliverables, ensuring that quality, timelines, and costs are consistently met or exceeded.
Lead, mentor, and hold accountable cross-functional teams to execute against the project plan, ensuring the highest standards of performance and collaboration.
Implement robust change management processes to effectively manage changes in scope, timelines, or resources, ensuring minimal disruption to overall project delivery.
Ensure full compliance with project management best practices and industry standards, continuously enhancing processes to improve project delivery efficiency.

Required
10+ years of experience managing complex IT projects with a focus on strategic planning and execution. Proven track record of leading high-impact, enterprise-level projects.
Expertise in building and managing multi-phase project plans across the full project lifecycle, with an acute attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, executives, and cross-functional teams.
Advanced proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar enterprise-grade platforms for planning, tracking, and reporting.
Extensive experience with risk management, budget control, and resource allocation for complex projects, managing multimillion-dollar budgets.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and negotiate effectively with both internal and external partners.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and cloud technologies.
Expertise in performance metrics and using data to measure success, address issues, and implement corrective actions.
A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is required. Additional certifications like Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or Scrum Master are a strong plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Preferred
Experience managing global IT projects, navigating cross-border and cross-functional teams.
Advanced experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong background in business transformation and digital innovation within an enterprise context.
Proven ability to navigate high-stakes situations and deliver under pressure, balancing competing priorities with precision.
