Responsibilities

Drive programs to success ensuring risks are mitigated, working closely with various business units of the client (application owners, domain owners, and vendors).

Plan, direct and coordinate projects to ensure on-time completions within budget.

Defines business requirements for various IT implementations

Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize deliverables across projects based on scope of work, project goals, and overall project value.

Document and communicate project status and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, team members and senior management on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels.

Provides project leadership on medium-sized projects, with cross-functional teams of internal as well as external resources.

Utilizes standard project management processes and tools to deliver projects that achieve the intended business objectives within the approved scope, schedule, budget, and resource constraints.

Implements processes and procedures for project and/or program planning.

Facilitates baselining the project plan and manages on-going change requests.

Provides status reporting and updated forecasts, as needed, including schedule, budget, and resources.

Manages project stakeholders, which may include executive business leadership.

Other duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) required

Minimum of 5 years in Project Management role, preferably in the legal market

Experience with implementation and/or upgrade of iManage or other document management systems required

Data migration and software implementation experience a must. This includes but is not limited to the ability to migrate to a new financial platform and the launch of a new intranet and company portal across multiple organizations

Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple work streams and competing priorities

Analyzing complex situations and independently determining the appropriate course of action

Experience with software development lifecycle and best practices

Experience with IT implementation methodologies

Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management

Aware of industry standard project management techniques and when they should be used. Experience of multiple complete projects

Strong leadership and influencing skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
