Responsibilities

Responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of assigned projects

Assist in project planning activities, including budget/resource estimation

Collaborate with subject matter experts, task leads, and team members to define project requirements and success criteria

Apply PM best practices and tools to ensure projects remain within cost and schedule constraints

Track and report project status, milestones, and completions to leadership

Identify, recommend, and execute process improvement initiatives to streamline PM activities across the organization

Potentially lead a small team or teams

Creatively determine solutions to assigned problems

Define and optimize project workflow processes

Prepare and present progress reports to leadership

Required

Highly self-motivated, professional, creative, and capable of managing workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced federal government environment

Comfortable working in an open-ended environment and capable of recognizing gaps in tools/processes
