Responsibilities

Understand the business relevance and strategy of assigned and related projects and provide input as required

Responsible and accountable for the management of multiple projects and/or programs to successful outcomes by the application of Project Management Institute Standards (or equivalent), best practices and other applicable PM methods

Serve as the primary liaison between the PMO and the research projects

Provide status and progress reports on all aspects of the projects

Build, foster and leverage key stakeholder relationships

Ensure quality-by-design is incorporated into every project activity and deliverable

Provide input into business development activities, as needed

Provide training, coaching and mentoring to less experienced project managers and related functions

Conduct effective Gap Analysis and Root Cause Analysis

Further the development of the PMO and its role within the organization

Other duties as assigned
