Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains a project budget and schedule as well as a communication plan with project teams and customers.
Develops and manages a project schedule (MS Project typically used).
Establishes and executes risk assessments and mitigation plans.
Ensures assigned projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to contract requirements and prescribed quality metrics.
Schedules and leads project review and status meetings (internally and with the customer), and communicates project status effectively.
Negotiates and writes subcontracts for internal and external subcontractors, approves invoices
Motivates project team members to ensure optimal performance.
Prepares budgets, reports, and scheduling for each project assigned.
Ensures the profitability and customer satisfaction goals of the project.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of project/program management or similar business or engineering experience
Or 8+ years of project/program management or similar business or engineering experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
Understanding of Project Financial key measurements.
Experience with Kissflow, Planview, MS Project, and/or Primevera P6.
Strong self-motivation with the ability to work effectively with general guidance towards objectives.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive, Meet, Chat, etc), or the Microsoft equivalent is required.
Preferred
PM Masters Certificate (a plus)
PMP Certification is highly desired (PMP and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certifications are valuable assets).
Understanding of two-way radio/cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems (a plus).
Understanding of local public safety customers (police, fire, and emergency medical services) (a plus).
