Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated tests to ensure the quality and security of products
Identify, report, and troubleshoot defects and security issues with development teams
Conduct integration testing across various platforms and technologies
Perform security risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards
Execute stress tests to evaluate product robustness under high-load conditions
Analyze bugs, provide feedback to development teams, and recommend software improvements
Motivate development process for efficiency and performance
Document testing processes, results, and recommendations
Research competitor products and stay updated on industry trends

Required
4+ years of backend QA experience
Strong technical, written and communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of backend development (e.g. Java, Python, Go, and .NET), as well as corresponding build scripts for each language
Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman, SoupUI, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud-based systems and various integration points such as CI/CD platforms (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI), AWS, IAM solutions
Willing to learn how to deliver work iteratively and push goals to the finish line
Ability to work collaboratively with a group of team members
Strong problem solver with focus on code design, quality and architecture
Working knowledge of software development methodologies and tools including
Experience with automated build systems, version and project control and issue tracking systems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or MIS or equivalent experience
