Responsibilities

Develop Automated Test Strategies: Design, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of J2EE/Portal web applications.

Collaborate in Agile Teams: Work with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure testing is integral to the development lifecycle.

Quality Assurance Support: Provide technical and troubleshooting support for applications, ensuring they function without error.

Defect Analysis: Analyze software defects and business problems to drive evidence-based solutions.

Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test plans, scenarios, and technical documentation.

Testing Tools Expertise: Utilize tools like Selenium, HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Katalon, and SoapUI to maximize efficiency.

Required

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, or management information systems

Strong understanding and experience of fundamental programming and testing concepts in the context of Web based UI applications

8+ years in software development and the SDLC, with expertise in Agile methodologies

8+ years analyzing business requirements and developing test plans and scenarios

8+ years in manual and automated testing of web-based applications

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions for technical challenges

Excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate across teams

Preferred

3+ years working with Selenium, HP LoadRunner, Katalon, or similar tools

Familiarity with SQL, XML, and creating interface files

Hands-on experience with Agile tools like JIRA or JAMA
