Responsibilities

Develop advanced automation systems and databases leveraging programming skills, particularly in Java and Kotlin.

Apply strong analytical skills to identify application functions, diagnose bugs, and execute comprehensive testing protocols.

Ensure meticulous attention to detail throughout all testing phases.

Integrate automated test execution seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.

Collaborate closely with squad leads and stakeholders to devise effective deployment strategies.

Support cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Credit, Business Development) in identifying automation opportunities to enhance product quality.

Maintain, review, propose, and implement enhancements to existing frameworks, tools, and processes.

Provide timely and constructive feedback on requirements specifications.

Continuously assess and update test case coverage using our test management tool.

Create and monitor post-production metrics to evaluate system performance.

Required

Minimum 5+ years of experience working as a QA automation engineer

Minimum 4+ years of experience in building test tools and frameworks using Java/Groovy/Kotlin/Scala/Python, Jenkins or similar CI-CD tools, Shell Scripting, Linux/ Mac OSX for either backend or frontend services

Experience with microservice automation

Experience with BDD testing paradigm and one of the Behavior Driven Testing frameworks such as Cucumber, Spock or JBehave

Experience working in an Agile development process (Scrum/ Kanban/ Scrumban)

Must be based in Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Peru, or Mexico
