Responsibilities
Form test plan, execution, and automation for Claims Manager and related products
Help guarantee quality of multi-million-dollar revenue claims products
Improve automation and ci/cd best practices for modernization initiative
Perform all manner of testing for new work in claims including functional testing, regression testing, positive/negative, automation. Help with performance testing and chaos testing
Work with Product owners and developers to capture functional requirements for test purposes. Get test plans reviewed and approved by stakeholders
Make test plans, document test executions, maintain metrics for test suite
Monitor automation and manual test result trends
Participate in production deployment verification
Create or work with developers to create performance tests. Run performance tests regularly
Monitor quality of the product from all aspects: functional and non-functional
Collaborate with larger QA team to maintain and update QA practices according to industry standards

Required
5+ years of experience in QA with automation
Familiarity with QA in agile setting
Ability to write automation tests when developers develop code related to a story
Basic understanding of CI/CD and integration of automation into CI/CD
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers and product owners
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related field
Strong understanding of automation frameworks like TestNg, Selenium, SoapUI, etc.
Understanding of security and login with automation and generating system load with automation
Ability to leverage Jira to document test plan, cases, and execution
Knowledge of software development best practices. Able to monitor code quality and unit test coverage, security vulnerabilities
