Responsibilities

Results-oriented: Work closely with the Infrastructure team to incorporate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure bug-free releases to Production

Proactive: Identify areas of improvement and key workflows for automation, adding them to appropriate test suites

Self-starter: Build automated functional and non-functional test suites, aid in manual testing to ensure features work as per acceptance criteria

Forward-thinking: Learn new technologies and advocate for high-quality software development

Detail-oriented: Help create best practices around test frameworks, document processes, and results for the team

Mentor: Mentor developers on best practices around testing, review unit and integration tests written by developers

Required

7+ years of experience working in a high growth product environment building test automation suites and manual testing experience. Experienced with programming languages, including JavaScript/TypeScript (required) and Ruby (preferred) or any other object oriented programming language

Ability to recommend best frameworks for solving problems at hand, while partnering with cross functional teams, including Architecture

Proficiency with automated testing tools like Playwright (preferred) and/or Cypress is a must, experience with manual QE testing, API testing and web accessibility testing

Expert in DevOps practices related to building CI CD pipelines (using github, gitlab or similar)

Excellent Troubleshooting and triage skills

Preferred

Experience with Ruby or any other object-oriented programming language

Proficiency with Playwright automated testing tool

Experience with manual QE testing, API testing, and web accessibility testing
