Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of 35-40 people in the QA/QC lab, with 70% of the role being managerial in nature.

Elevate the performance of the team to maintain high-quality control in the manufacturing process.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, particularly cGMP regulations.

Utilize technical knowledge in lab equipment and testing methods like HPLC/GC and USP monographs.

Required

B.S./B.A. degree in science or engineering

At least 5 years of experience in a laboratory environment, particularly in a high-throughput laboratory environment

Should have at least 3 years of management experience and be able to demonstrate, through example, having the ability to elevate the performance of the people and team around them

Requisite regulatory/compliance background is a must-have, including cGMP regulations

Requisite lab equipment and technical background is also a must-have – HPLC/GC testing, USP monographs, etc.
