Responsibilities
Responsible for the growth and development of the regional marketing managers on our 1847Financial Marketing team. You’ll be asked to help guide their growth and development, their annual goal setting and quarterly progress, and the day-to-day leadership of the team.
Consult on strategic direction and fresh marketing ideas with many Managing Principals and key financial professionals of 1847Financial firms.
Responsible for relationship management and account management functions like strategic project intake, regular communications, prioritization of key initiatives and idea sharing across multiple firms, Managing Principals and internal stakeholders.
Design and create marketing campaigns based on target markets to gain new customers and build repeat business, as well as drive recruiting of new financial professionals to the 1847Financial firms. Leverages phases like initiation, design, testing, and execution on multiple campaigns at any given time.
Accelerates production for new and established financial professionals through collaboration on creating their marketing plans and marketing / advertising campaigns, as well as their digital presence via their website, social media outlets, email and paid advertising.
Reviewing current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and developing solutions within budget constraints. Responsible for decisions like starting, stopping, or course-correction on campaigns and projects.
Formulates project teams and supervises execution, progress and measurement of marketing campaigns and their success across digital (web, email, social, SMS & text) and print media.
Ensures campaign implementation follows Penn Mutual’s and their firms’ brand guidelines, as well as regulatory/compliance guidelines.
Develops individual and team KPIs and metrics to measure the success of all marketing and advertising spend, and compiles regular reports of campaign performance and results.
Identifies new markets and natural markets through market research, voice-of-the-customer listening posts, competitive NPS and other strategic sources.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing or related work experience
More than 10 Years In a similar role
2-3 years leading the creation and implementation of marketing plans
In-depth knowledge of running B2B and B2C campaigns
A good understanding of current marketing trends
Financial services / life insurance industry experience
In-depth technical understanding of life and annuity products and sales concepts, technology, related tax laws and state regulations
Experience with technology such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SmartOffice, Redtail, Canva, Asana, FMG, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Camtasia, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Preferred
Advanced degree or working towards one
American College professional designation
