Responsibilities
Maintain a thorough understanding of Medicare, governmental, and other third-party reimbursement regulations
Support contract modeling functions and monitor payment calculations
Assist with the completion of the Medicare Cost Report and related documentation
Act as the organization’s representative during third-party audits and inquiries
Support financial planning projects and ensure accurate accounts receivable management

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; M.S. or M.B.A. preferred
Minimum of three years of experience in acute hospital reimbursement or equivalent
Familiarity with contract terms and third-party regulations
Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-starter qualities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience with governmental rate filings and data requests
Knowledge of Intern and Resident Information System (IRIS) for medical education reimbursement
Familiarity with various financial planning and reporting systems
