Responsibilities

Collaborate with governments and researchers in Australia and overseas to ensure your work impacts policy decision processes around the world
Build close relationships through in-country visits, workshops and fieldwork
Continue to build an individual research profile that has real-world impact
Develop projects that are aligned with your research interests, the objectives of the CSDR and with partner countries

Required

You have a PhD in a related discipline of applied economics and/or relevant work experience across either public finance, analysis for policy making, national accounts, environmental economics accounts, national capital accounting or ecosystem evaluation.
You’ll be able to demonstrate your track record in high-quality impactful research.
Experience in the development and provision of policy advice to governments, public authorities or similar.
Commitment to research excellence and keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
You’ll also have high level communication skills and ability to network effectively and interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Work in a team, collaborate across disciplines, and create innovative solutions to complex problems and build effective relationships.

Preferred

Experience working on Marine related issues is highly desirable.
