Responsibilities
Work collaboratively within a team to conduct ASHRAE energy audits, optimize HVAC controls and operations, and perform Retro-Commissioning (RCx) for existing buildings.
Lead RCx activities including auditing, inventorying, baselining, benchmarking, managing implementation, and conducting Measurement and Verification (M&V).
Execute field investigations, develop scopes of work for Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), prepare written energy reports, calculate energy savings, and estimate costs for hotels and large commercial buildings exceeding 100,000 sq. ft.
Identify ECMs related to hotel building automation systems (BAS) and optimize HVAC and control systems operationally.
Develop and analyze ECMs for energy savings, utilizing existing engineering calculation spreadsheets.
Create comprehensive written reports detailing technical analyses, financial evaluations, and recommendations.
Develop specific strategies, goals, and objectives for project execution.
Assist owners, controls contractors, and mechanical contractors in selecting appropriate technical approaches for efficiency solution implementations.
Lead energy efficiency projects, overseeing scheduling, budgeting, meetings, pre-qualification, site walks, estimating, scope definition, and M&V activities.
Facilitate technical discussions on scope, savings projections, and M&V methodologies during client interactions.

Required
15+ years of experience in Energy Audits, Commissioning, and/or Retro-Commissioning.
15+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems, Direct Digital Controls, and HVAC systems.
Previous experience in developing cost estimates for energy conservation measures.
Strong proficiency in technical report writing and verbal communication skills is essential.
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field required.
Preferred
PE License preferred, though not required.
Must possess strong time-management, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
