Responsibilities

Take ownership of the opportunity management process in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information at all stages of the sales pipeline
Regularly monitor and maintain data integrity, opportunity type, stages, attribution, and close dates
Work closely with the sales team to enforce data hygiene best practices, provide training when necessary, and resolve any data inconsistencies or issues
Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce, providing guidance and support to the sales team on system usage, best practices, and data management
Assist with user onboarding, training, and ongoing system maintenance, including managing user roles, permissions, and access levels
Collaborate with the IT team and Salesforce administrators to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and drive system integrations
Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, revenue trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of improvement and make data-driven recommendations to optimize revenue operations
Create and deliver regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline health, and other relevant metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership
Collaborate with the sales team, marketing, customer success, and other cross-functional teams to align processes and ensure smooth handoffs and transitions between departments
Identify opportunities for automation and implement system enhancements or Salesforce customizations to improve overall sales effectiveness
Collaborate with the finance and operations team to administer commissions for the sales team including tracking results, calculating rates and communicating results

Required

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, STEM or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a similar role within a technology or software company preferred
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, including advanced understanding of opportunity management and reporting
Strong analytical skills and the ability to extract insights from datasets
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both IT and Sales teams
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
