Responsibilities

Deliver: Expected to lead and deliver on a portfolio of active travel or greenway schemes and major roads packages.

Oversee: Responsible for appointing competent discipline engineers, planning and developing engineering tasks.

Provide Expertise: Experience in developing road schemes, delivering scheme design packages, and coordinating input from other disciplines.

Ensure Quality: Work through the complexities of Transportation projects, hold clients' hands, and overcome problems collaboratively.

Collaborate: Work with a team of multi-disciplinary engineers to deliver integrated designs and build effective relationships.

Required

Experience of supporting delivery of infrastructure through the Irish statutory processes including ABP/SID/Part 8 & associated EIA/AA processes

Experience of design of schemes in an urban setting

Significant technical design experience across a range of disciplines to Cycle Design Manual (or similar international cycle design guidelines), TII Standards, DMRB, SRW and MCHW, and DMURS or similar transferable international experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar field + 10 years of relevant design experience in bridge engineering, design and analysis or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Professional Engineer (PE) license and be willing to obtain reciprocity in the jurisdiction of the projects

Valid Driver's License and as a condition of employment, pass AECOM's motor vehicle records review
