Responsibilities
Tactfully drive, coordinate and direct the resolution of problem situations that may require higher levels of management in order to preserve, cultivate and grow the business.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in strategic global accounts.
Serve as the lead point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Understand clients' business needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions and services.
Uncover new and additional product opportunities by taking a consultative approach by discovering a company's needs and goals.
Create and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative sales and marketing strategies.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs for assigned accounts.
Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
Work closely with all Belden internal cross-functional teams (such as marketing, product, and service) to ensure a cohesive approach to account management.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive overall company success.
Represent Belden at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Analyzing data to understand account and market trends to develop and modify growth plans.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Articulates product / solution value proposition to align to end-user needs.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related role
Proven track record of managing and growing large, complex accounts on a global scale.
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred
MBA preferred.
